Helena-Agnès de Gielgud-Nickelson grew up in Poland, lived in Switzerland for some years and achieved her life-long dream to paint and draw professionally in oils, watercolours and charcoal as an American living in Hawai'i. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (with distinction) from the University of Hawai'i.

Agnieszka has received acclaim at exhibitions of her work in Honolulu, by the Windward Artist's Guild, at the Lyndon House Arts Center in Athens, Georgia and at the Oconee Cultural Arts Federation (OCAF) in Watkinsville, Georgia. Her art is on display and has been sold in prestigious locations in Hawai'i, Italy (individual show at the elegant Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio www.villaserbelloni.com) and the United States, where she currently resides in Athens, Georgia.
